Are reo and nagi gay
Home / gay topics / Are reo and nagi gay
I can respect it- but someone as ridged as Barou would have trouble playing with two highly adaptive and (fairly) free-spirited players like Isagi and Nagi.
What’s a shame is that Barou’s high set of morals and rules he holds himself to is literally keeping his playstyle from evolving. Desperate for active pilots, Ego makes a bold decision to re-pair Rin and Isagi together.
Back in their cadet days, Isagi and Rin were drift compatible, which made them the perfect match…however, memories collide with the present- unresolved feelings are brought to light.
This is why Reo is okay with Nagi becoming the program's number one player rather than himself.
Later on in the series, Reo becomes increasingly possessive of Nagi, but there are no instances that suggest it is romantic.
Reo's possessiveness stems primarily from his envy of Nagi's talent. Since he’s played Kunigami before, I wonder if Barou will be able to adapt to blocking and guarding against his plays as Kunigami now does.
Either way, I think I’m going to end this one here.
But, tell me your thoughts.
Is Reo really gay for Nagi?
Will Isagi realize that spatial awareness is the pinnacle of adaptability?
And…
Why doesn’t Barou wear his hair down more often?
Leave your thoughts in the comment section below, we’d love to hear from you!
Now dangerously low on Jaeger pilots, Marshall Ego Jinpachi orders graduated students to defend the country from an increasing wave of Kaiju attacks.
Rin Itoshi also returns due to his co-pilot recovering from an injury on a mission. Maybe he ate the candy packet his siblings gave him during the bus ride home.
I’m sorry if that sounds mean, but Naruhaya had it coming.
After all, Isagi’s spatial awareness technique is literally based on calculating the field around him and adapting his playstyle to “smell a goal”.
The only one who hasn’t realized this yet, is Isagi.
Blue Lock Episode 16 Review
If Barou doesn’t get it together and learn how to cooperate on the field, he’s going to cost his team a chance at advancing to the next round.
King Barou the Maid
Maid Barou has a very strict set of principles and morals he lives by.
The last time they spoke to each other was a fight, causing a falling out in their relationship. And since Reo is acting like a jilted lover, he’s not going to stop marking Isagi which limits how much Isagi can playmake the match.
Isagi wants to see Bachira again, so I’m sure they’ll make it through but I really need to see Barou evolve past what he is now.
Who would have thought the fandom really wasn’t trolling?

Blue Lock Episode 15 Review
I’m going to get to Naruhaya’s sad backstory momentarily, but can we talk about Reo and Nagi for a second?
Is Reo Gay For Nagi?
Like…I know the whole homoerotic “fight for me if you want me” jokes going around about Bachira and Isagi, and how Reo was depressed about losing his ‘boyfriend’ Nagi…but is Reo legitimately obsessed with Nagi?
During the Additional Time segment, it said something about Reo being a “maiden in love” while he was picking the bristles of his toothbrush, pretending they were flowers awaiting Nagi’s return?
He would like to win Blue Lock in order to give his hard-working older sister and siblings a better life. Now back in the same Jaeger- under more pressure than ever to protect humanity, Rin and Isagi must find a way to work together and risk everything they love for the final time.

Wow, Reo is actually in love with Nagi and borderline obsessed.
Then in Episode 16 Reo was acting like a woman scorned and even decided to target Isagi during the match because of…jealousy?
I totally thought people were just trolling when they mentioned that Reo was in love with Nagi but Reo might actually legitimately be in love with Nagi. Reo wants to keep Nagi for himself in order to try to live out his dream with him.
While some may interpret this as Reo romantically liking Nagi, it is simply the same kind of bromance that sports anime have when two male characters have a special connection with each other.
In fact, Reo prefers older and more mature women, claiming to be attracted to Hisako Manda, a real-life Japanese actress and Japan's Miss Universe 1978 representative.
He has also had previous encounters with older women, such as his teacher, who he recalls was the first person to ever confess to him due to his wealth.

Does Nagi Like Reo?
Yes, Nagi likes Reo, but not romantically, just like the latter’s feelings for him.
He usually follows Reo and stays by his side wherever he goes in Blue Lock.
And…that’s it.
Haha.
He got into Isagi’s head (which is fine, shaky confidence is one of Isagi’s weaknesses) and was so sure he could emulate his direct shot only to fail.
Upon that failure, Naruhaya finally admitted what we all already knew: that Isagi is a genius when it comes to adaptability on the field. So, do Nagi and Reo end up together in Blue Lock?
Spoiler Warning: There are Blue Lock manga spoilers ahead that go up until the second selection!

Does Reo Like Nagi?
Yes, Reo likes Nagi, but not in a romantic way.
Since everybody knows that he’s a ball hog, Kunigami and Reo were able to easily gang up on him and steal the ball. I don’t really care either way, it just surprised me that even the actual anime decided to make fun of Reo’s (homoerotic) co-dependency on Nagi.
Naruhaya’s Sad Backstory
Okay so we learned Naruhaya’s backstory after he was disqualified when Isagi took a direct shot.
Basically, Naruhaya is an orphan and comes from a poor family with a lot of siblings.

Meanwhile, Nagi just wants to play the game.Rather, as the manga progressed, they went their separate ways.
Reo is left to fend for himself after Nagi realized how badly he needs to improve.
In the program's second selection, Nagi unexpectedly joins Yoichi and Bachira's team rather than Reo's, as he usually does.
Nagi realizes by the end of their 3v3 match that Reo's style of play will always be different from his and that working together will not be enough to get them what they want.
Despite this, Nagi still considers Reo to be a friend and even respects all of his decisions while they are in the program.
