BiggerCity is the premier app for gay men of size (Chubs and Bears) and their admirers.
Many of us big guys don’t feel accepted or sense of belonging in the mainstream gay community, and are usually bullied or rediculed off normal gay dating/hookup apps. I've never encountered this issue on growlr, scruff, or grommr, etc. I can't seem to edit profile text in-app. Not a good experience at all, unfortunately moderators didn’t do much to help either they kept acting like what people did was fine.
I almost never get a notification sound and banner notification when someone messages me. I thought maybe it was due to the old cell phone I was using but after upgrading my phone recently I now see that it's not my phones problem, but rather, it's something wrong with the app or server.

As a community of misfit misfits we tend to be more open minded and welcoming of other misfits. Anyway I am grateful for this app even existing, because there are so few places for us to go online to connect with other big guys and our admirers/chasers. Additionally sometimes when refreshing within the app there will be an icon next to the inbox indicating there's an unread message when in fact no one has messaged.

I do love the updated interface and very smooth. Overall I do enjoy this app, but I wish it had more functions like the website has. Please feel free to contact our support team so we can assist you with any problems.

app is just overall horribly designed, convoluted interface, and when someone tries to call the app completely cuts off my cell signal.

Speaking as a member of the community who has felt like a misfit in already misfit community thank you for giving us a place to feel accepted. I can't either delete or type anything and I do believe it appears greyed out maybe but I don't actually know.
