Downtown Miami has recently seen a revival and is also worth visiting, located about a 30-minute drive south without traffic. Spend an afternoon taking a scenic ride along the banks of some of the most luxurious homes in an area known as “the Venice of America”.
Hugh Taylor Birch State Park – Located just north of the beachfront area, this park is a great place to escape the city and embrace Mother Nature.
This is the place to watch lip-syncing queens perform and entertain a crowd eager for a fun and interactive night out.
Georgie’s Alibi – Enjoy daily happy hours on food and drinks, including 2-for-1 specials, plus a variety of live performances and events.
Infinity Lounge – A relaxed yet sophisticated lounge with a mixed gay and straight crowd and a wide selection of tasty drinks and cocktails.
Pub on the Drive – Formerly the Pub Wilton Manors, this bar now boasts the title of the largest bar in Wilton Manors, thanks to its newly expanded oasis-like patio bar.
Wilton Manors is nearby, offering numerous gay-friendly restaurants, attractions, and clubs.
Worthington Guesthouse – This all-male, gay resort is five blocks from Fort Lauderdale’s Sebastian Beach. Be sure to catch one of these free shows each week. The winter and spring month offer milder weather for those who really don't like the heat.
