The first attempt to try the case resulted in a mistrial because of juror misconduct. Randy Gay was convicted and sentenced to death. Randy was convicted of second-degree murder and sentenced to 20 years in prison, being paroled in 2000.

Randy faced legal troubles again in 2008 when he threatened store owner John Ward. He retrieved a shotgun from his car and fired, hitting Kelly in the chest.

She heard a gunshot and later found Glen injured from a headshot. The prosecution sought the death penalty, citing Randy's history of previous murders. Holly confessed to the kidnapping, rape, and murder and the recording was shown to the jurors. Gay retrieved a gun from the back of his pickup and shot Snow once before loading her body into the back of his truck and driving off.

Prosecutors say Gay shot and killed Snow in 2011, and left her body in the Ouachita National Forest.

After loading his shotgun, Randy locked Janice inside their camping bus. Gay was previously convicted for killing his father-in-law in 1978 and his father in the early 90’s.

Randy Gay – white, age 52

Sentenced to death in Garland County, Arkansas
By: a jury
Date of crime: 05/10/2011
Prosecution case/defense response: Originally charged with first-degree murder of Connie Ann Snow, 49, the charge against Randy William Gay was upgraded to capital murder, as he was twice convicted of murder in the state and released on early parole.

Instead of calling for help, Randy put Glen's body in a boat, disposed of it in his truck, and refused to discuss the incident with Janice. They saw Gay pull into a site at the U.S. Forrest Service property, in Ouachita National Forrest, where he and Snow got into an argument. He ordered her out of his truck, and when she refused, he shot her in the face.
