Once the season finale aired in October 2024, the former contestants quickly learned the spark was still there and committed to a long-distance relationship.
“Seriously, long-distance — us from Texas to Atlanta is hard — I can only imagine how difficult it’s to navigate coast to coast going from New York to California,” Makensy said.
They kept their relationship under wraps until going Instagram Official in December 2024.
“I think we did get the justice of navigating some of [our relationship] privately,” Matt shared.
Tucker first went on the block in Week 2, as a pawn during the Veto Replacement, with the goal being to win AI Arena to further push for Lisa's eviction.
But Tucker doesn't want to be seen as just any ol' "ditzy" model, though, he's proving he has the brains and the brawn to win Big Brother season 26.
How Big Brother's Tucker Became A Model
Becoming a successful model isn't an easy accomplishment and takes a lot of hard work and dedication.
For BB26's Tucker, modeling sort of "fell into his lap."
"My dad always took pictures of my brothers and I growing up.
So, might as well push and push and never give up. Although he was recruited to continue wrestling at the university level, Tucker suffered several injuries during his senior year of high school from football games and a wrestling match.
"I decided to not wrestle, so I could focus on my studies in Television and Film production, while still modeling and acting," Tucker shared in a 2018 interview with Medium.
Tucker's most recognized profession outside now being a Big Brother reality TV star is his work as a model.

What BB26's Tucker Did For Work Before Big Brother
Before Big Brother, Tucker worked as a marketing and sales executive at a protein bar company, but he is a self-proclaimed man of many hats.
The Massachusetts-native may have started the season by playing a quiet game, but he soon proved he was one of the strongest houseguests of BB26 by week two, when he convinced the house to eliminate Lisa Weintraub over controversial houseguest Angela Murray.
Tucker's Big Brother game, paired with Angela's shocking outbursts, has made BB26 one of the best seasons of the reality tv show in recent years.
But BB26 has shaken things up in all the best ways. “[Tucker and Rubina] were a showmance from the jump from the show so I have a lot of respect for them and navigating that together is very difficult. I think that they, just like us, found their person on Big Brother, and I hope and wish them nothing but the best.”
